This elegant gold-tooled design originates from a distinctive binding created by Christian Samuel Kalthoeber, a German bookbinder who worked in London. Kalthoeber fashioned the exquisite new cover of Shakespeare's First Folio in approximately 1800. Originally printed in 1623, Shakespeare's Comedies, Histories, & Tragedies (also known as First Folio) is widely regarded as one of the most precious books ever published.

In-store pickup

Some items, including furniture, art and sculptures, require in-store pick-up, as noted on the product page. You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our store located at At Home Designs, 7460 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin DE 19707. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up usually within 24 hours.

We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
